Riders Rest Bed and Breakfast is a 1920’s Guest House  situated right outside Lexington Virginia in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley with breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge and Allegheny Mountains. Riders Rest Bed and Breakfast offers 4 bedrooms all with private bathrooms and A/C. 2 of our rooms have their own separate   sitting areas. Our King room is adorned with a claw foot tub to soak away your day’s activities. We also have wireless broadband  internet access to keep you in touch while your getting away.

You may want to drift away the afternoon with a good book in our hammock and have a cup of tea in our gazebo.

Riders Rest Bed and Breakfast is within walking distance of the Virginia Horse Center and 3 miles from Historic Downtown Lexington Virginia,  The Virginia Military Institute, Washington & Lee University and the Visitors Center.

Available all year. Please call 540-463-9125 for special rates and availability.  Visa/M/C and cash accepted. Breakfast is available in our sunny dining room from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM. Or for those who need to be at the Horse Center early we offer instead a packed lunch for you to pick up around noon.  Please give your hosts your preference when registering. Check in is at 4pm, check out at 11am. These times can be flexible with prior notice. Sorry, we can't accommodate your pets. Smoking is restricted to the porch.
